Advocacy 101: Educating & Connecting
The Virginia Community Health Worker Association is offering an Advocacy 101 course to those interested and looking to prepare for our CHW and Allies Civic Engagement Day at the General Assembly Building. Participants will learn about the legislative process and engage in discussions about the importance of advocacy and education. Our goal is for participants to feel better equipped and empowered to advocate for themselves, their communities, and their profession. Continuing education credits are available upon full completion of both parts (attending a virtual session and engaging in the Awareness and Education Day).
